Is there a right way to express them?

1. Speak genuinely from the heart

Begin by acknowledging the person's pain without trying to minimize it.

“I do not have enough words to ease your pain, but I want you to know that I am with you during this difficult time.”

2. Share a fond memory of their loved one, if you knew them

This makes your message more personal and human.

“I will always remember their smile and the peace they brought to others. They were a very special person.”

3. Offer your support sincerely

Simply offering your presence can mean a great deal.

“I am truly here for whatever you need, even if it is only to listen or sit with you in silence.”

4. Choose words that comfort

For example:

“May the love you shared live on in your memories and give you strength each day.”

5. When writing, close with warmth

“With all my affection, I am sending you an embrace from afar.”

“With love and respect, always by your side.”

In this way, a few sincere words can offer comfort during an especially difficult time.
